Spelling Letters is what I’m doing all day. Throwing words on paper and rearranging them into something worth reading. Well, at least for me. It’s not just incoherent sometimes, it’s like I’m trying to spell out letters. The post, stories, or other writings I publish here every week will be nostalgic for me and fun for you - or maybe the other way around. I’m especially excited to share with you not only snippets from my screenplays and other stories, but also personal stories from my past, and especially, my Father’s, as his stories were and still are, the best.
With the weekly writings and stories, subscribers will also get access to my Wednesday Podcast where I break down a teleplay or screenplay, my Friday Flicks email so you all you have to do is get the popcorn ready, and my monthly Community-Substack-Script where the ideation and writing process is shared from beginning to end. I’ll also ask readers to post their favorite shows or movies every Friday so we can all have a plethora of options.
About me:
I was born and raised in Southern California with a steady diet of watching Die Hard movies, Rugrats, and ice hockey. A graduate of The LA Film School and The Ohio State University as well as somehow managing to make it out of high school, I have always loved film and tv. It's not just the moments, it’s how they were crafted and by all the people behind the scenes.
My original teleplay, Call Of The Void, has received 19+ accolades including several semi-finalist awards, a couple finalists awards, and was lucky enough the be the winner of the HORROR Underground Film & Screenplay Festival. And yes, that cute lil pup there is Venya, my 12 year old GSD. We’ve traveled across country in my FJ Cruiser at least 4 different times including countless other adventures. She’s a huge part of our lives, and a huge goof! Maybe she’ll chime in every now and then.
Do I have to pay?
You do not! All content is free at this moment. That being said paid subscriptions will be kept on and will be much appreciated and spent on coffee to fuel more writing. The optional subscription model runs at $5 per months and $50 per year.
